Townsville Medicare Urgent Care Clinic was built to offer patients an alternative to clogging local hospital emergency departments with non-life-threatening conditions. The project was a welcomed addition to the Eastbrooke Health & Community Hub in Townsville, attracting up to 450 patients daily.

Eastbrooke embraced health department guidelines to create safe and welcoming environments, designed around patient accessibility, privacy, infection control and emergency preparedness.

The facility includes a dedicated treatment room, with 4 beds, nursing station, a dedicated waiting area and reception area.
